FOODBANK
Foodbank is the largest food relief organisation in Australia. Last year, they sourced the equivalent of 82 million meals, which is then distributed to their network of 2,625 charity partners, providing food relief to more than a million people each month.
Unfortunately, this isn’t enough to meet the current demand from those seeking food relief. Their Foodbank Hunger Report 2023 revealed 3.7 million households in Australia experienced food insecurity in the last 12 months. That’s more than the number of households in Sydney and Melbourne combined.
To assist Foodbank in making sure everyone, no matter their situation has access to essentials, Tip Top donated more than 1.6 million loaves of bread in the last 12 months to help address the food shortage that many Australians face.
